Idyllwild Arts Foundation - The Idyllwild Arts Foundation was started by Max Krone and his wife Bee Krone in the late 1940s. They purchased a 205 acre (830,000 m²) parcel of land just outside of Idyllwild, California, and with the help of the University of Southern California, opened a summer program in 1955.
